How can Reiki help me?
Reiki is a complementary healthcare method for stress reduction and relaxation essential for activating the natural healing power of the body for reestablishing health or for maintaining health and wellness. Reiki supports our natural healing process, assists in maintaining wellness, and may offer a profound peacefulness at the time of death. Reiki applications work toward balancing the subtle energy field so that the body can naturally heal itself from within.
What can I expect during my Reiki session?
You will relax fully clothed, either lying down or sitting comfortably. The Reiki practitioner’s hands will be placed lightly on or just above you, starting with your head, torso, legs, and finally feet. Soft music will be playing if you wish. Most people become very relaxed during a Reiki session, perhaps even sleeping. After the Reiki session there will be time for additional questions or conversation.
Common responses after a Reiki session are a sense of calmness, relaxation, relief from pain, a decrease in anxiety or worry, a general sense of feeling better about oneself, and enhanced joy in life. Reiki sessions last about an hour.

Reiki, a non-invasive method, is recognized by the National Institute of Health’s National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine. Reiki complements and offers subtle energy support for medical or other complementary interventions such as medications, medical treatments, chemotherapy, acupuncture, or psychotherapy. Reiki is used in hospitals and other health care settings around the country. All ages benefit from Reiki.
The Usui Reiki System is a subtle-energy based method for balancing the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual matrix for healing the cause of suffering, stress management and relaxation for promoting health and wellbeing. Always seek the advice, diagnosis and treatment from a licensed physician for personal medical concerns, illness, accidents, injuries, or other health problems. Reiki supports standard medical care, dentistry, and complementary healthcare modalities. Prescription drugs and eye care prescriptions may need to be changed after a series of Reiki applications and need to be monitored by your healthcare professional.

Reiki sessions are scheduled on Mondays
A one-hour Reiki session is $85.
